Softball Recap: Westminster Takes a Loss

If Westminster was riding high fresh off their 13-1 takedown of Mountain Range last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves came up short against the Holy Family Tigers on Friday, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wolves haven't been shut out since back in August.

Westminster saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cynthia Rosales, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Rosales has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Westminster's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Holy Family, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Westminster has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against Montrose on the 17th. As for Holy Family, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-0 victory against Ponderosa on the 17th.
