Baseball Recap: Mendon Comes Up Short

Mendon lost to Union City two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hornets fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mendon's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Union City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Mendon has already played their next matchup (against North Adams-Jerome), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Union City, they will venture away from home to square off against Centreville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
