Soccer Recap: Jeff Davis Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jeff Davis can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thomasville Bulldogs on Tuesday. Jeff Davis were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than four goals in the three matchups prior), but Thomasville's defense proved too tough.

Jeff Davis' goal came courtesy of Konnor Munsayac, who's now up to 25 this season.

The loss snapped Jeff Davis' winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-7 record. As for Thomasville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Jeff Davis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thomasville, they will square off against Fannin County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fannin County will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Thomasville surely won't give up without a fight.
