Soccer Game Preview: Waite vs. Northview

The Waite Indians will head out on the road to take on the Northview Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Waite's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Waite lost 8-1 to Start last Wednesday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Northview was a bit more limited in their contest last Thursday. They fell just short of St. John's Jesuit by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for Northview in their meetings with St. John's Jesuit: they've now lost five in a row.

Northview's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-2. As for Waite, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Waite might still be hurting after the 11-0 loss they got from Northview in their previous matchup back in October of 2015. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
