After flying high against North Clarion last Monday, Karns City came back down to earth. The Karns City Gremlins took a 55-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redbank Valley Bulldogs on Wednesday. The Gremlins' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Mylee Harmon was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 30 points and nine boards for Redbank Valley. Harmon's evening made it 21 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Adyson Bond was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

Karns City's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2. As for Redbank Valley, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Karns City has already played their next game (against Clarion Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Redbank Valley has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Elk County Catholic.
