Soccer Recap: George Walton Academy Comes Up Short

George Walton Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Hebron Christian Lions, falling 10-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 17, 2018, but that streak is no more.

George Walton Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Hebron Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Looking ahead, George Walton Academy will square off against Bethlehem Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. George Walton Academy has given up an average of 4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Hebron Christian, they will face off against East Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th. Hebron Christian's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so East Jackson's offense will have their work cut out for them.
