Soccer Recap: St. Mary's Academy Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for St. Mary's Academy after they claimed the first goal on Tuesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell 3-1 to the St. Anthony Saints. While losing is never fun, the Belles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 773rd, while the Saints are ranked 376th).

St. Mary's Academy dropped their record down to 4-7-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for St. Anthony, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1-1.
