Softball Recap: Denver Takes a Loss

Denver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jesup J-Hawks. The Cyclones were not able to make up for their loss to the J-Hawks from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

Denver's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Jesup, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Denver has already played their next game, a 6-5 win against Grundy Center on the 25th. Jesup has also already played their next contest (against Hudson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
