Softball Recap: Banneker Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newnan, Banneker was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 16-13 win over the Morrow Mustangs. The high-scoring effort was just what the Trojans needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The victory got Banneker back to even at 1-1. As for Morrow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Banneker is set to take on their familiar foe Langston Hughes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Morrow will face off against rival Newnan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
