Baseball Recap: Baldwin Takes a Loss

Baldwin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the West Laurens Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on Tuesday.

Baldwin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elier Moreno, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Moreno is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played.

Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for West Laurens, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-10.

As of now, neither Baldwin nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
