Soccer Game Preview: Hill vs. Del Mar

The Hill Falcons will square off against the Del Mar Dons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hill's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Hill is headed into the game having not lost since January 3 and will look to keep things rolling. They skirted past San Jose 2-1.

Meanwhile, Del Mar came up short against James Lick on Thursday and fell 4-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Dons in their matchups with the Comets: they've now lost five in a row.

Hill is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those nine contests. As for Del Mar, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Everything went Hill's way against Del Mar in their previous matchup back in January, as Hill made off with a 6-0 win. Does Hill have another victory up their sleeve, or will Del Mar turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
