Preview: Logan/Palco vs. Plainville Cardinals
Logan/Palco has been on the road for five straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Plainville Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Logan/Palco knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Plainville likes a good challenge.
Even though Weskan scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Logan/Palco still came out on top. Logan/Palco secured a 65-59 W over Weskan.
Cameron Morgan and Rhett Kats were among the main playmakers for Logan/Palco as the former scored 17 points and the latter dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Kats has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. Case Ashmore was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Plainville scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 71-63 victory over Hoxie. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Logan/Palco has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Plainville, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
