Football Recap: Concordia Falls to Wamego in First Game of Season

Concordia kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Wamego Red Raiders, falling 40-6. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Drake Blochlinger threw for 129 yards and one touchdown. Liam McNutt was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards and one TD.

Concordia will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Beloit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wamego, they will head out to face off against Rock Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
