Basketball Game Preview: Marshall Rams vs. Bastrop Bears

The Marshall Rams and the Bastrop Bears will face off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Marshall has given up an average of 56.5 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Marshall picked up another tournament win on Friday. They snuck past Caney Creek with a 69-65 win.

Meanwhile, Bastrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 74-40 loss at the hands of Freeman.

Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Bastrop, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
