Columbus is a perfect 3-0 against Sumter County since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Blue Devils will head out to face off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m.

Columbus is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Veterans just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 4-0 to the Warhawks.

Meanwhile, Sumter County got the win against Hardaway on Thursday by a conclusive 11-1. Considering Sumter County have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sumter County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those four games. As for Columbus, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.

Everything went Columbus' way against Sumter County in their previous meeting back in March of 2019, as Columbus made off with a 7-0 victory. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
