Taos had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Portales Rams. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Taos also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Taos' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Portales, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Taos didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against St. Michael's on the 30th. As for Portales, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Bloomfield on the 30th.
