Volleyball Recap: Tolleson Comes Up Short

Tolleson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Mountain Pointe Pride.

While Tolleson ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17.

Tolleson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Mountain Pointe, with the win, they broke their nine-match losing streak and moved their record to 5-16.

Tolleson will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Apollo at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Mountain Pointe, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Higley on the 4th.
