While Ayden - Grifton put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Greene Central. The Chargers claimed a resounding 35-0 win over the Rams. Considering the Chargers have won four contests by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

EJ Ruffin had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 113 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Loyalty Fuller, who gained 79 total yards.

The victory (which was Ayden - Grifton's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.7 points over those games. As for Greene Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Ayden - Grifton will take on Tarboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 8.8 points per game this season, so the Chargers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Greene Central, they will face off against Farmville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.38 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
