After losing to Northridge the last time they met, Roosevelt decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Roughriders walked away with a 10-5 win over the Grizzlies on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Roughriders.

Lily Wiese was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Roz Muguerza, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Roosevelt kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Roosevelt's record is now 7-4. As for Northridge, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Roosevelt will face off against Wellington at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northridge, they will square off against Greeley West at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Grizzlies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
