Basketball Recap: Centre County Christian Academy Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Great Commission, Centre County Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors, sneaking past 34-32. The win was a breath of fresh air for Centre County Christian Academy as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Centre County Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Calvary Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centre County Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Blair County Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Blair County Christian's defense has only allowed 27.4 points per game this season, so Centre County Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on DuBois Christian at 5:30 p.m. on February 11th.
