After failing to score in their last game, Aspire Langston Hughes Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Vanguard College Prep on Monday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Vanguard College Prep Lions. Considering the Titans' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Their offense was hitting Vanguard College Prep from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Julianna Nu?ez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-8-1. As for Vanguard College Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy has already played their next match, an 8-1 victory against Humphreys Able Charter on the 11th. Vanguard College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
