Soccer Game Preview: Head-Royce vs. College Prep

The Head-Royce Jayhawks will challenge the College Prep Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Head-Royce had been on a four-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Bishop O'Dowd put an end to it on Monday. The Jayhawks came up short against the Dragons, falling 8-0. Head-Royce's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask College Prep). Everything went their way against Redwood Christian on Friday as they made off with a 5-2 win. College Prep haven't had any issues with Redwood Christian recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

College Prep now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Head-Royce, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Head-Royce got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in February of 2025 against College Prep by a conclusive 7-0 score. Do the Jayhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
