Kennesaw Mountain waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Lithia Springs Lions as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won seven contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Isander Poventud, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Another player making a difference was Jake Phelps, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Kennesaw Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lithia Springs only posted an OBP of .211.

Kennesaw Mountain's record is now 10-3. As for Lithia Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
