Basketball Recap: Fountain Valley Skates Past Edison with Ease

Fountain Valley won the last time they faced Edison and things went their way on Thursday too. The Fountain Valley Barons claimed a resounding 59-25 win over the Edison Chargers. Given the Barons' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Chargers are ranked 967th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fountain Valley has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Edison, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

Fountain Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-28 victory against Newport Harbor on the 21st. As for Edison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-18 loss against Huntington Beach on the 21st.
