Soccer Game Preview: Wayne Christian Academy vs. Faith Christian Academy

Wayne Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Faith Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagle will host the Angels at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Wayne Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past CES Academy 9-1. With Wayne Christian Academy ahead 6-1 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting CES Academy from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Maddox Hubbard led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Faith Christian Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Knights.

Wayne Christian Academy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Faith Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1-1.
