Recap: High Tech CV Bruins vs. School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions
The High Tech CV Bruins can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against School for Entrepreneurship & Technology by a score of 34-26. This was payback for High Tech CV, who suffered a 28-8 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kameron Owens, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and four steals. That was a full 38.5% of School for Entrepreneurship & Technology's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Karys O'Neill was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
High Tech CV's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9. As for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
High Tech CV will head out on the road to take on Foothills Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. School for Entrepreneurship & Technology won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Coastal Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th. Hopefully Coastal Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Friday.
