Sage Hill extended their postseason success on Tuesday against San Diego. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Sage Hill Lightning who were credited with the victory. The Sage Hill Lightning got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the San Diego Cavers' three. The win was nothing new for the Lightning as they're now sitting on six straight.

Cambria Thomas and Ceci Ball scored both of Sage Hill's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Sage Hill's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. As for San Diego, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-9 record.

Coming up, Sage Hill will square off against Santa Maria at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Maria's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. San Diego does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
