Soccer Recap: University Comes Up Short

University lost against Palisades two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The University Wildcats lost 6-0 to the Palisades Dolphins. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 882nd, while the Dolphins are ranked 74th).

University has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Palisades, their win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

Coincidentally, University and Palisades will both be playing Venice the next time they take the pitch. University will host Venice at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while Palisades will host them at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
