Softball Recap: South O'Brien Comes Up Short

South O'Brien was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the St. Mary's Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 two weeks ago.

South O'Brien's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for St. Mary's, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

South O'Brien wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-1 defeat against Unity Christian on the 19th. As for St. Mary's, they have also already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against West Monona on the 19th.
