Basketball Recap: Penn Hills' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Penn Hills came into Monday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Gateway Gators 41-20 on Monday. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gators, too.

Penn Hills' victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-11. As for Gateway, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Penn Hills will square off against Fox Chapel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gateway, they will face off against Westinghouse at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Gateway is facing Westinghouse at the right time seeing as Westinghouse is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
