George Washington Prep was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Fremont on Monday. The George Washington Prep Generals claimed a resounding 48-21 victory over the Fremont Pathfinders. The Generals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Several Pathfinders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Janaea Carpenter, who posted eight points.

George Washington Prep's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points over those games. As for Fremont, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Looking ahead, George Washington Prep will be playing at home against Crenshaw at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fremont, they will head out to face off against Dorsey at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
