Volleyball Recap: Central Noble Takes a Loss

Central Noble lost against Garrett back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Railroaders. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Central Noble was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-18.

Their offense was headlined by Grace Swank and Lily Marks, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Jalayna Winebrenner and her 11 assists.

Central Noble's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Garrett, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

Central Noble wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Churubusco on the 11th. As for Garrett, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Westview on the 11th.
