Soccer Game Preview: Norwalk vs. Dowling Catholic

Norwalk hasn't had much luck against Dowling Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Warriors will welcome the Maroons at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Norwalk made easy work of Pella Christian and carried off a 9-2 victory. Considering Norwalk have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Dowling Catholic sidestepped Indianola for a 2-1 win. The victory continues a trend for Dowling Catholic in their matchups with Indianola: they've now won three in a row.

Dowling Catholic's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three games. As for Norwalk, the win got them back to even at 7-7-2.
