The Legacy Academy Silverbacks will face off against the Eunice Cardinals at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Legacy Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Loving 49-18. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Silverbacks considering their six-point performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Eunice faced off against Santa Rosa on Saturday. The Cardinals blew past the Lions 49-14. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Legacy Academy better keep an eye on Elijah Melancon. He was instrumental in Eunice's win, throwing for 160 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 93 yards on only 12 carries. Melancon has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.

Legacy Academy's record now sits at 10-1. As for Eunice, their record is now 8-2.
