If Many wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Red River, they should've done a better job of containing Malique Smith. The Bulldogs claimed a resounding 34-6 win over the Tigers thanks in part to Smith, who threw for 205 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 79 yards on only five carries. He is becoming a predictor of Red River's success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 1-4 when he doesn't).
