Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Cambria Heights' Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Cambria Heights had won two straight road games and Sienna Kirsch did her part to make it three on Wednesday. The Cambria Heights Highlanders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Northern Cambria Colts 52-21 thanks in part to Kirsch, who almost dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 16 rebounds, and nine steals. The game was her fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Markie Bender was another key player, putting up seven points along with ten boards and four steals. Those seven points gave her a new career-high.

Cambria Heights is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Northern Cambria, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-17.
