Del Norte came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Poway, but Mya McGowan wouldn't allow it. The Poway Titans walked away with a 44-35 win over the Del Norte Nighthawks on Friday thanks in part to McGowan, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 23 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards.

Poway's record is now 9-19. As for Del Norte, they dropped their record down to 7-21 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Poway will challenge Carlsbad at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carlsbad will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Poway surely won't give up without a fight. Del Norte does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
