Softball Recap: Bryan County Comes Up Short

Bryan County lost against Emanuel County Institute back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redskins fell 6-1 to the Bulldogs. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emily Johnson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Bryan County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Emanuel County Institute, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Bryan County will face off against rival Metter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Emanuel County Institute is set to challenge their familiar foe Claxton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
