Soccer Game Preview: North Polk vs. Denison-Schleswig

The North Polk Comets will venture away from home to challenge the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs on Tuesday.

Last Friday, North Polk and Bondurant-Farrar finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Denison-Schleswig entered their tilt with Sergeant Bluff-Luton on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 4-1 victory. Denison-Schleswig might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by three goals or more this season.

Denison-Schleswig's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. With that draw, North Polk's record moves to 9-3-6.
