Baseball Recap: Wheeler Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Wheeler's offense. They lost 10-0 to the North Paulding Wolfpack on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Wolfpack: they've now lost three in a row.

Wheeler's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for North Paulding, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Wheeler will face off against Marietta at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. Wheeler is facing Marietta at the right time seeing as Marietta is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for North Paulding, they will take on Blessed Trinity at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Blessed Trinity will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something North Paulding surely won't give up without a fight.
