Soccer Recap: Glenwood Comes Up Short

Glenwood managed to slip by Des Moines East the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams came up short against the Scarlets on Saturday, falling 5-2. Glenwood were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Des Moines East apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Glenwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for Des Moines East, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Glenwood will challenge St. Albert at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Des Moines East, they will venture away from home to take on Mason City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
