Football Recap: Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds vs. De Soto Wildcats
Shawnee Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the De Soto Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunderbirds of the 69-57 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Shawnee Heights still got an impressive performance from Aiden Scott, who threw for 626 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per attempt.
