Trion barely beat Bowdon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs blew past the Red Devils 13-7 on Thursday. Considering the Bulldogs have won six games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Trion is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Bowdon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trion will venture away from home to face off against Manchester at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.71 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bowdon, they will square off against Armuchee at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
