Football Game Preview: Washington Rams vs. Copper Canyon Aztecs + How To Watch

The Washington Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Copper Canyon Aztecs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Washington has given up an average of 36.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Washington is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 40 points last Friday, they were much more limited against North Canyon on Friday. They were dealt a 47-7 loss at the hands of the Rattlers. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-7.

Meanwhile, Copper Canyon came up short against Maryvale on Friday and fell 35-22.

Although Copper Canyon took the loss, they still got scores from Sirjohn Parker and Mark Enriquez.

Washington has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Copper Canyon, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Washington won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, slipping by Copper Canyon 21-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
