Softball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln was the 5-2 winner over Sioux City West when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Lynx came up short against the Wolverines on Thursday, falling 10-2.

Lincoln saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jocelyn Ridder, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Lincoln has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Sioux City West, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Lincoln has already played their next contest, a 9-8 loss against Sioux City East on the 17th. As for Sioux City West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-1 defeat against Lewis Central on the 13th.
