Basketball Recap: Clairemont Comes Up Short

Clairemont played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 42-17 to the O'Farrell Charter Falcons. The Chieftains were down 31-10 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Among those leading the charge was Liona Rusom, who made all 7 shots she took to post 17 points. Another player making a difference was Leshawna Stephens, who posted six points.

Clairemont's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for O'Farrell Charter, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Clairemont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 27-25 victory against Ramona on the 13th. As for O'Farrell Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 32-26 win against Rock Academy on the 13th.
