Softball Recap: Midwest City Takes a Loss

If Midwest City was feeling good fresh off their 12-1 takedown of Western Heights last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bombers fell 4-1 to the Elgin Owls on Wednesday.

Midwest City's loss dropped their record down to 19-7-1. As for Elgin, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 24-12.

Midwest City has already played their next contest, a 7-3 victory against Lawton on the 8th. Hopefully Elgin paid attention to the Bombers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bombers on Thursday.
