Basketball Recap: Kenzie Harrington Key Part of a Team Effort in Falcons Win

Forest Lake Christian lost to Delta back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Forest Lake Christian Falcons walked away with a 43-32 victory over the Delta Saints. While the Falcons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Forest Lake Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenzie Harrington, who posted six points in addition to 20 rebounds and six assists. Harrington has been hot, having posted ten or more boards the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Bell, who went 8 of 14 on her way to 18 points and five rebounds.

Forest Lake Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Forest Lake Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-28 defeat against Ponderosa on the 7th. As for Delta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-28 loss against American Canyon on the 7th.
