Football Recap: Bethel Comes Up Short

Bethel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 40-15 to the Covington Buccs. The Bees were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buccs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Bethel's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Covington, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethel will host Lehman Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bees will need to watch out since the Cavaliers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Covington, they will be playing at home against Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
