Fairmont Prep won the last time they faced Pacifica Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fairmont Prep Huskies simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Pacifica Christian Tritons 71-29. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Fairmont Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maria Mejia, who went 9 of 20 en route to 29 points and eight boards. Those 29 points gave Mejia a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Aldeguer, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 22 rebounds.

Fairmont Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Fairmont Prep is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Pacifica Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Avalon the next time they take the court. Fairmont Prep will head out to face Avalon at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Pacifica Christian will host them at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
